These areas are regulated by the "Ordinanza Dirigenziale n. 283 del 4 dicembre 2015" which provides guidelines for the long and short-term parking of tourist buses and the associated tariff system.

The regulation of tourist bus parking in Naples is governed by the Managerial Order no. 283 of December 4, 2015, which identifies specific areas for long and short-term parking for tourist buses and the corresponding tariff system.

Access to Tourist Bus Parking Areas

To access the Tourist Bus Parking Areas in the city of Naples, it is recommended to obtain prior accreditation and purchase the title by bank transfer. Long-Term Tourist Bus Parking Areas

The following are the areas designated for long-term parking for tourist buses:

  1. Viale Virgilio (right side, direction entrance of Parco Virgiliano)
  2. Via Manzoni (right side, section of Viale Virgilio intersection with Via Petrarca)
  3. Via Boccaccio (right side, direction Via Santo Strato)
  4. Viale A. Dohrn (right side, direction Piazza della Repubblica from the intersection with Via F. Caracciolo)
  5. Via Nuova Marina (direction Via Vespucci, section Chiesa di Porto Salvo - Varco Carmine)
  6. Via Nuova Marina (direction Via Colombo, section from Varco Carmine to Vico Scoppettieri)
  7. Piazza del Carmine
  8. Piazza G. D'Annunzio (area in front of the stadium, curve B side between Via Tansillo and Via Claudio)
  9. Viale Giochi del Mediterraneo (left side, all available areas between Via C. Barbagallo and Via A. Beccadelli)
  10. Via Capodimonte (height of Porta Grande)
  11. Via Taddeo da Sessa (right side, direction Via Gianturco, section Via Aulisio - civ. 93, and left side, direction Centro Direzionale, section between via D. Aulisio and Viale Terracini)
  12. Via Pansini (right side, after via Montesano)
  13. Via Galeota (section from Via Tansillo - Via G.B. Marino)
  14. Area in front of Stadio San Paolo (Via G.B. Marino side, curve A and B distinct)
  15. Via G. Marconi (right side, direction Via Terracina)
  16. Via L. Tansillo (section via De Gennaro - via Galeota)

Short-Term Tourist Bus Parking Areas

According to Managerial Order no. 264/2020, which amends and integrates O.D.1200/2015, Tourist Buses can make a short stop of up to 20 minutes to allow passengers to get on and off near the city's major tourist attractions. The following are the areas designated for this type of parking, indicated by appropriate signage, and the applicable fees:

  1. Via Riccardo Filangieri di Candida Gonzaga, in front of the authorized TPL parking area under LR 3/2002
  2. Via Chiatamone corner with Via S. Lucia, right side of the direction of travel
  3. Via Sannazaro, height of Civ. 4
  4. Via Caracciolo, height of the Sebeto fountain
  5. Viale Virgilio, on the right side of the entrance to Parco Virgiliano
  6. Via C. Colombo (Port side), after the ANM bus stop, at P.I. 034 079.
  7. Piazza Cavour (height of civic number 4)
  8. Via A. Depretis (height of civ. 40 in continuation of the ANM stop)
  9. Via C. Rosaroll (in front of the former Pretura in continuation of the CTP stop)
  10. Piazza Carlo III (Orto Botanico side, section between via B. Tanucci and via Foria)
  11. Via Guglielmo Sanfelice corner Piazza Bovio, direction via Medina
  12. C.so Meridionale (section between P.I. 0121 101 and civ. 60)
  13. Via Riviera di Chiaia, height of civ. 200, continuation of paid parking areas without custody (blue stalls), adjacent to the entrance of Villa Pignatelli
  14. Piazza Vittoria, near the monument to Nicola Amore, before the ANM stop/terminus
  15. Viale Anton Dohrn: a) villa side, at the paid parking areas without custody (blue stalls) placed after the intersection with Via Francesco Caracciolo; b) height of Rotonda Diaz, immediately after the traffic light pedestrian crossing;
  16. Via Petrarca (height of civic number 115, right side in the direction of Via Orazio);
  17. Via Posillipo (height of Mausoleo)
  18. Via Cesario Console, in front of civic number 3;
  19. Via Nuova Marina, corner with via Duomo, height of Civ. 24;
  20. Piazza Museo Nazionale, before the staircase leading to the museum;
  21. Via Capodimonte, height of Catacombe di San Gennaro;
  22. Via Miano, in front of the petrol station;
  23. Via Casanova, from in front of civic number 96 to in front of civic number 110;
  24. Piazza Vanvitelli, section between civic number 24 and the intersection with via Scarlatti;
  25. Tondo di Capodimonte (before the entrance to the church located at civ. 10, precisely height of pole I.P. 026011).

Tourist Bus Parking Fees

The following are the fees for tourist bus parking:

  • Short Stop: €5.00 (five euros). Note: The payment is considered €5.00 for passengers getting on and €5.00 for passengers getting off. Maximum duration of 20 minutes to allow passengers to get on and off in a specific authorized area.
  • Half Day: €20.00 (twenty euros). Allows parking for up to 4 hours (in all authorized areas).
  • Daily: €40.00 (forty euros). Allows long-term parking (in all authorized areas).
  • Daily: €50.00 (fifty euros). Allows both short and long-term parking (in all authorized areas).
  • Monthly: €400.00 (four hundred euros). Allows long-term parking (in all authorized areas).
  • Monthly: €500.00 (five hundred euros). Allows both short and long-term parking (in all authorized areas).
